ype of Humidifier
Bypass humidifiers use your HVAC blower to push air through a water panel, making them a cost-effective option. Fan-powered humidifiers have their own fan and can produce more moisture output, which is ideal for larger homes. The type you choose affects both performance and price.
Home Size
Larger homes require humidifiers with higher moisture output capacity. The square footage of your home and the number of levels will determine the size and type of humidifier needed for effective whole-home coverage.
Existing HVAC Integration
Whole-home humidifiers connect directly to your existing HVAC ductwork and water supply. If your system requires modifications or additional plumbing work for the water line, this may add to the installation cost.
Water Supply Connection
Humidifiers need a dedicated water supply line. If one is already nearby, installation is straightforward. If new plumbing is required to route water to your HVAC system, this will add to the project scope and cost. Henson handles both HVAC and plumbing, so we can manage the entire installation in-house.
